For those of you who've done it before, the main change is that we won't have any anthems this year (we've simplified it a bit due to the proximity of the summer show). It may be worth practising the school song with the children, as they are not used to singing it this year.
Please remember to pass me the photos of your class for the slideshow during 'Proud'. Also, I will need individual photos of all the children in each class - I will get these from Mr Quiroz but I will need each pair of classroom teachers to number the photos according to register order. The First Grade Farewell will be on Tuesday 13th June.
We have booked 3 rehearsal times in the auditorium:
Tuesday 5th June 7:30 - 9:00
Wednesday 6th June 9:30 - 11:00
Friday 8th June 9:30 - 11:00
We will have the whole grade photo taken by Mr Quiroz on Wednesday 23rd May, early in the morning. All the children will need to wear gala uniform that day. The children will need to learn their song 'Reach' by Gloria Estefan. Here are the lyrics:

While we sing, we present a slideshow of photos. I will need 20 photos from each class to put in the slideshow, please - including one photo of the whole group. They should be fun and all of the children should appear at least once. This year's ceremony will be slightly simplified compared to previous years. I am making the necessary changes to the schedule, and as soon as I have I will upload it here.
